Hi, I’m Chaia.

I’m a counselor, writer, and somatic facilitator on a lifelong journey to know myself better and love myself deeper. I believe that transformation is born from a true relationship with our whole selves – one based on curiosity, compassion, and real, honest, messy, unconditional love.

After living most of my life completely disconnected from my body, and over a decade mis-using substances, I experienced an embodied spiritual awakening. I reconnected to my life force, reclaiming my body and spirit. I began to witness my thoughts as separate from myself, started listening to the wisdom of my body, and connected to my intuition.  I delved deep into the shadow realm to feel and heal the trauma from my childhood and the inherited pain of my ancestral lineage.

Now, I help others fall in love with their whole selves so they can feel freer and fill their days with more purpose, pleasure, and connection.

I hold certifications in crisis counseling, mind-body coaching, yoga, and pranayama, and I am currently completing my master’s degree in clinical mental health, specializing in mindfulness-based transpersonal counseling. With a background working with survivors of sexual and domestic violence, I have led workshops and webinars on embodied self-compassion, taught classes on healthy relationships, and facilitated groups including Lgbtq+ support groups and ceremonial women’s circles. In a past life (my twenties), I produced large-scale queer events, music festivals, and parties for luxury fashion brands in New York City.

I live in Northern California with my partner, Kenny, and our cat, Pris. I love coffee, road trips, and the colors of the sky. In my spare time, you can find me devouring novels, chatting about astrology or human design, dancing under the full moon, playing pickleball, and diving into black holes of research on whatever topic happens to catch my attention this week.

My personal essays about growth and transformation live on my substack, flying dreams.
